Dr Geeta RM has been one of the most gifted poets I have ever known. She has written poems on a wide range of subjects. I have had the privilege of reading many of her poems and have been delighted. The first and the foremost characteristic feature that comes to mind is that the ethos of the society and the country she belongs to is very close to her heart. She has also been influenced by history and philosophical traditions this great land of our forefathers. I am sure she will continue to write with same passion and depth for the benefit of readers of good poetry.

Dr. Geeta Radhakrishna Menon is very nice, knowledgeable and kindhearted Indian poetess who writes poems straight from mind with deep meanings and analysis. Her level of high thoughts are well reflected in her poems. She not only writes about nature and society but also writes poems on spirituality. I have gone through her many of poems and found deep philosophical essence. She has also amazing skill and power of proper translation. In her many poems scriptural aspects and arts are found with great perspectives. She is definitely gem of world poetic society. I am wishing her all the best for her literary career and life. May God bring lots of happiness for her and family. May roses blossom in her way of walking to make this fragrant.

Geeta, like the holy scripture from which she gets her name, is a symbol of wisdom, compassion, kindness and humbleness to all her friends, fellow poets and loved ones. Geeta is an Indian classical danseuse, a poetess, an accomplished writer and author of several books. She is also a yoga expert, a teacher and a healer. She speaks several languages and her pursuit of art and Bhakti has taken her all over the world. Her poetry is as intellectually challenging, as it is spiritually uplifting. I bow with utmost humility before her superior intellect and wisdom, and consider myself extremely fortunate to be counted among her friends.

My Beloved Father

A tall, handsome six footer,
A resolute chin,
A defined jaw line that can boast of aristocracy,
A passer-by would not miss him.
Dark like the mills & boons heroes,
Donning a military cap,
Definite steps as he walked
With military boots - thud - thud - thud
With a stick in hand just to wave- wave- wave
