Dyllan Martin Poems
The flower that was wilting died, At one o'clock this morn, And took with all the dignity, Of men and women who's hearts are filled with scorn,
Him and his slimey ego, That I canno't bear, His singing like a howling cat, As he stands up there.
Clinically Insane [song]
You don't know, You'll never know, Whats inside my head, Inside my head,
Have you seen the face of a thousand sorrows, With the woes of the world on her shoulders, She just lies there,
The Girl With Love On Her Arms
Tears stream from bloodshot eyes, As she tries to undo the mess she made, Is death her only option? She believes it is,
As I flick through the pages, Still images paint portraits in my head, They lay on mottled paper, Whilst I stare in wonder,
A girl as old as 15, Pretty as a cloud, To guys she's a dream, Cheerful and colourful as can be,
Dare, Double Dare, Dead.
There's a thing my parents always say, 'If they jumped off a cliff would you? ' My reply always a no, Til the day they dared me,
Locked Inside Looking Out.
Locked away, Inside cold captivity, Held inside like an animal, Surprisingly sane,
Poor lonely eyes, Cold dead flesh, Reminds me of my dear pet, Steel, icy cold against my palm,
It started with a leaf, A humble leaf beneath his foot, And as he pressed down, He realised he had the power to destroy,
Expressionless eyes stare, Look into mine as I lay upon my bed, He's only an innocent doll they say, But I know better,
Cold, icey fingers, Pierce the greyness you claim is skin, As you take your last few breaths, In and out,
Me, In My True Form.
Step upon the stage, Seen me in my blinding colours, Like a rainbow clashed against the sun, always sunny,
Him and his slimey ego,
That I canno't bear,
His singing like a howling cat,
As he stands up there.
With harsh hatred in my eyes,
And a firey glaze on my stare.
As I sit here scowling,
Whilst he stands up there.
