Winter

A winter chill and hoar of frost which coats the outer walls
Grim despair as winter air smashes upon the soul ensnared
A bluish tinge from silvery scene which wraps the bitter cold
Has shaken and weakened both the mighty and the bold
The chilling blizzard that now pounds
As cries and wailing echoes abound
The biting cold and chilling frost devour
Gloomy eyes that search for green
Whose vision walks the hills and scours
