Elwin Mwangi Poems
The Jack's Spot
He got the jackpot and thought he had the whole plot, The pot got diminished; he had hit a jack's spot, Life was hot, but too short. A gun was the solution; he grabbed it and took a shot!
The Drug Curse
This is my word. This is what I make of my world. This is my heart clad. This is what my brain buds.
Enjoying The Moonlight With The Goddess ...
You saw I deserved to be loved; in my heart you shed light. You saw I deserved to be comforted; you made my night bright. You saw I deserved an embrace; and you let me hold you tight. You saw I deserved to see your smile; you enhanced my sight.
When Believing Is Not An Option
The bleeding heart on its knees The downgraded body starts to freeze The head pinches with hair full of fleas Miracles sounded like being free
That flavor, the delicacy of love well cooked! That favour; the happiness of a heart well soothed! Magical savior; you made me feel booked! In you I felt the lover; so irresistible-I looked!
We are the masterpiece! In their hearts we can master peace. Let us smear the grease; Let us make it a smooth ride; a journey of peace;
A boundless queen; with untamed capacity! A woman of great generosity; Giving me all that time is godly empathy! I can’t imagine your ability
The Jack's Spot
He got the jackpot and thought he had the whole plot,
The pot got diminished; he had hit a jack's spot,
Life was hot, but too short.
A gun was the solution; he grabbed it and took a shot!
He made himself a barbeque; an extreme blood clot.
Stains indelible; no further paint blot.
Deluge of tears that deluded the family lot.
Without the Jack there was no living pot;
Hopelessness and no resort; malnutrition struck like body shots.
