Biography of Emily Boschulte
My name is Emily, but I often like to go by Angelica- my middle name. I was born in Texas, but I spent majority of my life living in Tennessee. It has been sixteen years since my birth, but age does not define maturity. In order from most to least, I am: German, West Islander, Panamanian, Puerto Rican, Chinese, Portuguese, and African American. I currently attend Geneva High School, which is located in lower Alabama. My family and I moved to this state in Feb.2012. I am a member of the GHS Marching Panther Band. I can in fact play multiple instruments, but I do not exercise this skill in the band; I am in Color Guard. Spinning a flag is the most fun I've had since I left JROTC at my old high school. I am an honor student who does not feel the need to be the valedictorian or salutatorian. I enjoy poetry very much. I feel as if it is a way to explain your heart's true feelings. All of my poems on this website were written in 2012. My most recent are not ones I wish to share publicly. Hopefully sometime soon I will be able to write poems that are not so personal. Feel free to message me or comment on my poems. I am an open mind, and often times I will be enthralled that someone even viewed a poem of mine.
'It is good to have and end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.' -Ernest Hemingway
Emily Boschulte Poems
Empty and desolate my soul is barren in time I will just get worse
Quiet And Shy
I am quiet and shy. I wonder if anyone notices me. I hear the laughter of my classmates. I see friends sitting together.
I remember our last hug our arms were so tight I remember when
Now That You'Re Gone
An empty space where my heart should be spaces between my fingers where yours would fit
'Best Friends Forever', Right?
Best friends forever but forever turns to
Empty and desolate
my soul is barren
in time I will just
loveless and lost
you don't understand
on the inside
I cry out
hoping you'll hear
