Dr. Fab, You are welcome to use my haiku 'A Soccer Report' in any book of yours.
I thought that my other haiku, 'The DVD Player' was possibly just as good. Regards, Michael.

I have received 86 dislikes yesterday i.e. on 11-07-2017 that include nearly 76 dislikes for my last two comments made on Fabrizio Frosini's poet page. Is the person an enemy of Poem Hunter or Fabrizio Frosini or myself or poetry itself? He may be all in one person.I again request Poem Hunter to do something to stop such negative activities.

I have full faith on Poem Hunter Team and they will do something to set the things right.Poem Hunter is doing a very noble service to mankind by bringing to the readers the works of classical, modern and contemporary poets. It connects poets with readers by click of a mouse.I think it is the most popular Poetry Site.Their popularity is at stake when such negative activity is not restricted.Poem Hunter will surely do something about it.I request Fabrizio to have patience.

I hope Poem Hunter should do something to stop this.It will be a great loss for the Poem Hunter site as poets will be discouraged to post comments and one with real worth may not write.Like popularity is counted through log in of IP addresses, the dislike or like buttons should base on IP counts. This buttons should not allow for more than limited times.

In the last couple of days -but expecially today- a PH member [not a real poet, and surely, not a 'normal' person] has targeted my page with tens and tens of 'dislikes' [more than 130 just to-day.. in a few hours.. regarding the do you like this poet? button only - they were 17 yesterday, and today (or better, up to this very moment..) they are 149! plus tens on each and every comment left by other poets on my page..], in a silly game that only qualifies the absolute void in his (or her) mind... And that also qualifies such a person (or better: 'psychiatric case') as a COWARD, who uses anonimity because he/she has not the nerve to show his/her face..

  • Fabrizio Frosini Fabrizio Frosini (7/26/2016 4:24:00 AM)

over the past days I have noticed that there is a poor soul who cannot find anything better to do, in his/her empty life, than filling my pages with 'dislike'.. (also on the comments other poets have written here and on my poems)
Hiding his/her identity behind the anonimity that PoemHunter grants everybody, this soul tortured by envy and -maybe- feelings of hate and revenge against 'the whole world' (? !) - who know? :) - , has big fun through such foolish entertainment.
Well, for sure this is much better than getting a gun and go to the streets shooting to innocent people.. But it gives a lot of sadness to see how petty and miserable are such behaviors.. I'm not specialized in Psychiatry, but can understand that the void inside such a poor mind has to be a heavy burden to bear..

P.S.: I've asked my friends to add a number of 'like' whenever they feel that such a behaviour has been shown..
    Thank you.

I am greatly indebted to Fabrizio Frosini who has made me aware of the power of poetry.Poetry can bring revolution both in micro and macro level. It can change an individual's life by bringing him closer to truth..Being created as a small ripple it has the power to change into big waves.Fabrizio works as a starting point in creating that ripple. He is a great poet and a humanist and works towards bringing peace and equality in this world. His compilation of Poetry against Terror is one such commendable work which has united poets of different corners of the world to fight against terror through their poems.Whenever I try to write something about Fabrizio, I just remain awestruck at his contribution to the world of poetry.I feel lucky to have read his poetry and interacted through poems and comments.

Well! It so happens I am a Sicilian with blood ties coming from a place called Petralia, Sicily although I have never been there. And it so happens that one of my all time favorite movies is Under the Tuscan Sun with Diane Lane and Raoul Bova, which I watch at least four times a year just to enjoy the ambiance and the scenes. My ancestry blood calls to me in the autumn of my years, I guess...I will surely read more of your poems. Buono serra, Senor!

Poetry is all about feelings and moments.
I really feel the moment you created in this piece.
Lovely sentiment. connected with me in all the right ways.
    Happy New Year to you!

Nocturnal Snowing

«Let this fluffy snow fall upon our
Dreams and make them shine! »

Set free,
Your breath smoothens unshaken skies;
Your perception scratches unopened realities.

Is it a diversion -maybe- for lost thoughts,
For lost faces and sins?

Looking the other way out of fear or
Embarrassment, waking up next morning,
You should then learn
How to keep alive the drowsing mind,
While trying to shove away
Her plait of hair,
Jammed in the eyes of memory.

Ah.. Those haunting memories!

Was her pain real
When she asserted «That one is my...

Yearning for tenderness.
The one lost —It's so long -so long

The light delves deep in the watery
Unconsciousness of an unnatural essence,
Just to find nothing.

Longing for what went missing at some point
