I know where i was born at but i don't know where I'll die
And if i told you i cared then that would be a lie
For the dead past all feeling they have had their day
Live for as long as you can as a wise one did say,

In every race and in all people the good and the bad you will find
Though many of us tend to be blinkered to the faults of our very own kind
We see our own race as quite flawless but there of course we have it wrong
We are not any different to others to the one human race we belong

The old four mile creek it is bone dry it ceased to flow ages ago
It succumbed to the drought and long dry spell just one more creek that does not flow
It used to flow from the old brown hills along by the old Country Town
The drains that used feed it long gone dry in the countryside so bare and brown.

The middle class to greater things do aspire
And the financially successful many of them tend to admire
Their dream to buy a home in the upper class side of the town
Anything less for them would seem a big let down
...

She sees the old mountains in their hats of snow
And she sees and hears the old stream babbling by the hedgerow
And though the old fields to her thoughts remain dear
She will not be going home to welcome in the New Year.
...

Some dangerous life forms do spring to mind
But the World's most dangerous is human kind
We are the greatest killers Planet Earth has known
When it comes to taking of life we are in a class of our own
...

The one quite different from the common crowd
To peer pressure he remains as unbowed
He does not succumb to the politics of fear
He thinks for himself and his thoughts are always clear.

They do not fly far when they feel the need to fly
To the low branches of a tree nearby
Birds quite as black and as big as an average sized crow
But as they fly the white on their underwings does show.
...

No matter how about the theory of it you do feel
Karma is a thing that is for real
It may not affect you in any way
Instead one of your family for your sins might have to pay.

Tis the usual old story in the World of today
Far too many power abusers doing things in their own way
Hoodwinking their own people and on other Lands declaring war
For to try out their war weaponry no distance for them seems too far
