  • Your Friend (12/24/2009 9:13:00 PM)

    I know you.

You are a man of honor and integrity

You are a true and loyal friend.

You love your family and protect them
as a lion to her cubs.

Your Irish temper is fierce when you think
you or yours have been slighted.

You are quick to render help to those
in need and you are not judgmental.

You take great pride in your written work as
well you should...for you are one of the finest
    at your craft.

You are a person I am proud to call a friend.

I wish for you, health, happiness, love and at
some point, a publishing deal-which you
    truly deserve.

Happy holidays. Good health and long life

Saw you name on another page where
you said the work was 'stunning' etc.
The comment was quite extensive and
really true to the mark from beginning to end.

That said, let me mention I have read much of
you work and I find it, in your own words, stunning!

In reading many of your poems I was obliged
to rate them at least a ten! I have saved
some of your poems on my 'must read list.'

You are a fabulous maker of the written word and
It will be my pleasure to pass you link along
    to my friends.

' Emeralds And Black Diamonds...

Lie down lass, with me, in sage green meadows
Your blouse flouncing open, in the teasing breeze
The meadows, feel so cotton, this time of year
Come lay beside me, and sense my desires.

Open field, honeysuckle....arouses my yen
For passion 'neath th' sparkle by th' mid-noon sun
No clouds abide our scape of choice to pleasure
So, again I ask you lass, come lay beside me.

Come close, love, as these hungry emerald eyes
Beg to stare into your warm, black diamond eyes
Take my hand in bond, I assure you, my lov',
That emeralds and diamonds never fade ...

Understanding the broad scope of all that has been
for two-hundred scores of years......probably more,
Is to realize that regardless of what the majority
of us wants, It is the minority who sets the stage
to the anathema we are of witness to, here and now.

What to do...or say, as words and actions own-
a place in Resolutions storyline. Yet, this be no
tell-tale story for image or impact, to please
