    Dear Sir,

I bow to you in acknowleging those that have given us the chance to live and breath a normal life..your poem is wonderful and to the point, sometimes I fear our young ones dont even realize the sacrafice your forfathers made for us to live a normal life....sigh...sad

Slowly

Slowly our world will end for us
Not with a bang and not with a fuss!
Slowly the sea will reclaim the land
No more, we`ll see, a stretch of gold sand.
Slowly we burned fossil fuels for gain
Factory, engine, power station and plane.
Slowly we moved to correct our excess,
Too late to change the results of success.
Slowly the ice will melt at the poles
