Gilbert Alexander Ralston (1912, Newcastle, Northern Ireland – 1999, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina) was an American screenwriter, journalist and author. He was a television producer in the 1950s and a screenwriter in the 1960s.     Gilbert was my teacher at Sierra Nevada College in 1974 in Incline Village. He was such a great inspiration for me. He was my Creative Writing and Drama teacher. I loved the fact that he had accomplished such things and was now my teacher. I wish that I had contacted him years later to let him know that he is still in my thoughts. But he has been gone for almost 20 years now. Gone but not forgotten Gilbert.
