A biographical note but no poem - strange.

You haven't included the so-called Prayer of St Francis (for Peace) .
And you were right not to do so. Because its attribution to St Francis is a hoax and a seven-century anachronism.
I can't blame Duncan Wyllie for naively falling into the trap of this urban legend, he is not the first one to have followed that false track (I only discovered the truth some 12 or 13 years ago): neither is he the last one, I'm afraid.

But the Canticle of Brother Sun was definitely penned by San Francesco.
I have posted an English translation and a French one.

Each time, I have added the Umbrian Urtext.
Is it so difficult to publish it, gentlemen of PoemHunter.com?
