hi my name is kainalu...uhmm....I am doing a oral inter. in my speech class in the Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus and and i love your poem on logic and faith..its just that to use your poem i need background infomation. Just like when you were born or where you grew up in. What made you write this what was in your mind at the time...is that date of feb 24 the day you made that poem or is it like your birthday or something....hoping to hear from you...thank you.

Eye Of A Hurricane

We stayed awake 'till it was morning
The sun peeking over the edge of the sky
The stars were as white as angel's wings
The red of my hair and the blue of his eye
The night was as safe as a blanket
Stargazing in the eye of a hurricane, then
The early light told us to get some sleep
Prepare for the next night to do it again
Time seemed to stop when I was with him
