    • Philosophy comes from the Greek word 'philosophia' meaning the love of wisdom. It was the ancient Greeks who first broke away from Mythological and mystical explanations of nature of things replacing it with logical reasoning! Thus Thales during the 5th century became the Father of Philosophy & first of the Seven Sages of Greece! I Enjoyed Reading Your Poem and in support quote, - 'The quest for knowledge is the biggest goal, Merely digging in sand in a bottomless hole! ' Sir, I am a student of Philosophy & have written The History of Greek Philosophy in VERSE, which I have yet to publish! There will be hardly any takers for these things, since what sells are poems on sex & love! I THANK YOU FOR CHOSINING TO WRITE ON PHILOSOPHY! -Raj on Basis for philosophy

the last two lines summarise the whole situation.
but no one seems to notice the droughts or floods as an outcome of their acts. it is always something 'unfortunate'.

Comment: Just so...simply! It was written maybe on my order...wasn't it Hasmukh? ? ?
Sometimes with few words you can express more like with long-long- complicated
tractate....to leave some space also for readers...to could read also between lines,
to engage also their imagination :)

Comment: There is imaginative construction to show superiority
No one has gone deeply into this perception with serenity
There is no logical road which strengthen this belief
Momentarily it provides some solace or relief.............Very significant in this world of competition and strife, even in the field of knowledge.

Comment: A very impressive write on some of the man-made problems and their consequences that we face today and those that will continue to torment us in future, too. The last stanza is the best:

We may still survive and last long
The path chosen by us is very wrong
Nature and mankind must live side by side
The gulf should not be created wide and wide

Comment: The philosophical concept is to be on right direction
We should be prepared to go in that particular
It can’t be confined to any particular intelligent group
It has to be performed on stage in the form of troupe

your conceptualisation on philosophy is very fine. thinking, emotions, feelings coined together it becomes poetic philosophy. thank u for sharing.

I am very agree with what written in your poem.
Sometimes reality of human atitude, action and reaction are actually chain of what been seen, learned and adopted thru sweet or bitter life experience.
Well written and almast accurate with what actually happening to human nowdays.
