My name is Heather Wilkins/nee Burns. Burns is my maiden name which I write under. I live in the USA married with two children. I have written poetry for many years, being published in news papers journals and several anthologies over the years. I am a member of The Academy of American Poets. I am editor-in-chief of several poetry groups on line. I have my own poetry group on line.

Our meeting so lovely brief a dream of a lifetime came true

Your love knots are tied around

When you left my heart was broken tiny pieces were scattered everywhere
The gold and orange sets the autumn days afire season of wanting

And as I approach the light I pray my FATHER is there waiting for
