Please be extremely careful if/when copying any of HD's poems. The vast majority of them were written by others and you could be in breach of copyright.

Elyzabeth missed out 'plagarist' from her list of qualities - which is interesting, as HD even tried to have published a portion of one of HER poems as his own!
Ah well! you know what they say about imitation being the 'sincerest form of flattery, ' : >)

Magnificent poet with a new look on the world....the one we all missed seeing. Yet, isn't that the way it should be? For poets are loners, sages, prophets...all of these are HOWLIN DERVISH.

Intertwined In Love

Now I am wholly intertwined in love
Wholly torn from creature comforts

My heart is no more - some other sustains me
Reason, thoughts... are emblazed at their very root

Envision my vision - behold me through my eyes
Beyond all illusions - I have chosen a home

Joy

Joy in certainty.

To receive the gift of Joy is to be clothed in rapture, slaked with ecstasy, elated with bliss.

Suddenly in my bosom
A star shone clear and bright
All the suns of heaven
Vanished in that star's light
