A Story Of An African Girl
Equique Her frail arms wrapped tightly around another limp body, she sighs towards nowhere. The raven-like hair flow down her shoulders and secretly conceals her ribs that clearly show her signs of hunger. Oh, those eyes! Always waiting for the kind hands that reach out with love. Although accepting, she always waits, revealing the desperate eyes that dart forward, grasping hope. So young, so weak, but never giving up. The pale grey eyes still rest on the line of horizon, waiting with such controlled patience for the answer to come.
