The Deafening Silence
We’ve loved each other many moons past,
A kind of love that people say will last,
But we’ve traveled the same road too fast,
Hence, when a storm came it was a blast.
Memories haunt me, like I am the disaster,
The chaos that ruins our happy ever after,
Now, everything fades…and even laughter,
I am left with a hope for the distant-forever.
