Walking down the rough streets of life
I am truly all alone,
With hopes of new dreams turning true,
Olden days are long bygone.
Pieces of scattered, distressed remembrance
Still reflect in my bruised mind,
I wish they don't ever return
And want them to stay behind.
When you make my heart bleed,
It causes unbearable pain,
I desperately want to run away
To start a new day again.
Leaving my trembling hand
You walked far far away,
I deny traversing in the past
And look for a new home to stay.
Whatever was dark yesterday,
Will change into ...
I travelled across the rocky paths
The roads underneath crisscross,
My time flew fast and did not last
It rolled like a stone with no moss.
I sailed my boat through the streams of dreams,
The sun shone over my head,
The rainbows of hue had turned the soul new
And the wishes thus waited to be read.
