But have left you uninspired.

I wish I was an ostrich.
An ostrich isn't dumb.

Trying hard to trust
Poisoned by too much pain
Memories morph with reality
Reeling me in from moving on.

For how you make me feel
Standing beside this stick figure
The hole in my heart getting bigger

I was foolish
I was young
I thought
