हर ज़ुबां पे ज़िन्दगी का, है गीत अलहदा;
गुलज़ार करे जो हर दिल को, ऐसा तराना क्यूँ न हो?

न कोई गॉड, न ईश्वर, न अल्लाह,
ये सब है इंसानी दिमाग कि लीला;
न कोई सिकंदर, न कोई पैगम्बर,
हालातों कि साज़िश से कायनात का ये रूप ढला.

ये ख़ामोशी के अफ़साने।

किसी ने गीत नहीं गाया पर
