Biography of James Abell

Fairly new to writing poetry. As a new writer I know that I will make mistakes but, I am not against editing my poems from time to time as I see those mistakes. I enjoy all forms of poetry, yet haiku is my favorite to read. I am trying to master it myself as it is a new form to me. My favorite poet is Robert Frost and his poem 'the road not taken' was my inspiration to start writing. I have a website myself with some of my poetry on it. You can view it a www.mypoetry1.com

Journey To Your Decision

Through the gates of hell I've taken a trip
From deaths cup I've dared to sip
I've seen the rivers of blood flowing
Looked through the book of all knowing

Traveled through time to this place I reside
faced my fears and have no need to hide
Prayed to God for a bountiful feast
watched the sun rise in the east
