What is the theme of freedom?
Is this so?
Can freedom be these,
The good things in life?
Or is freedom more?
Is freedom the blood with which it is bought?
Is freedom the evils which our men have suffered
To bring it to us?
Sung through the ages,
For happiness dearly bought.
Is a hymn of praise
To the God who smiled on us,
And gave us America.
Is life, earned by death.
This is it, girl-
Of all you ever hoped to have with me,
Of all I ever thought I’d have with you,
Of all that there would be to have.
Give up, stop trying, because-
maybe because I’m afraid of what might happen,
If I decide to try again,
Maybe I worry about what people will say, or think,
