James, may I just say how much I enjoy your poems.
The lyricism, the music of the mind, the breadth of the mind...OK that's enough for one email...hope you go on writing - in and out of love!

    Michael

I Won'T Go Back

I won't go back now-
I've found a happier, better, place.

But I won't go back now.
I'll be your friend,
When all others leave you,
But I won't be yours-
My heart is given
To another.
