Jasmine Ramos Poems
This morning as you walked out the door You told me not to worry anymore You said you'd be back, and I believed you. But as the hours passed on
You didn't text me today, you didn't call. The last time we spoke you said that soon you'd be gone. I told you to stop, I begged you to live. You simply said you'd be better off dead.
I stared into a mirror And saw a girl looking back at me. Her eyes were cold, And her lips seemed set in a permanent sneer.
Guy On The Bus
It may seem that to me you're nothing more Than that guy on the bus. The one I hold hands with, And talk to.
I don't talk to you, you don't talk to me. But that won't keep you from talking shit about me. Spread that gossip like wild fire, Tell everyone the lies and raise yourself higher.
Love you cruel, cruel thing Come look at what you've done I lose, and once again you've won That stupid game called love
I don't talk to you, you don't talk to me.
But that won't keep you from talking shit about me.
Spread that gossip like wild fire,
Tell everyone the lies and raise yourself higher.
I don't know what you've got against me,
But whatever it is - you're killing me.
Soon it's gone around almost the whole school;
Everyone thinks they know the horrible things I do.
But they've no idea - and the things you said aren't true.
