Is always a must.

Houses lit in red, green, and white
I grab the cuff of my collar and hold it tight.

My mind compels me to speak, but for what?
So I can angrily express something absurd?
I can deal with it on my own instead of getting my throat cut.

My uncles are like no other.
I am glad to hear that your life is progressing,
Not by being silent, but speaking up the feelings you are possessing.

The emotions become intense and passion fills their eyes
It only takes once for the sparks to fly.
Cells divide and form within
This is where my life begins...

As the clock strikes the midnight hour
Blackness fills the sky, the owl hoots and the field mice cower.
The ghoulish ghosts and freakish beasts
Rise from the depths on the one night they can roam the streets.

I really like talking to you, not because you're attractive or a woman,
But from the safety of your eyes, determination of will, and ability to understand.
There is much power with your words of knowledge, truth, and respect.
And, I know I don't have to keep my feelings enclosed, with you, straightforward and direct.
