While googling myself (we all do it....don't we?) I was made aware that there appears to be two Jef Evans' in the universe! How can this be? ? ! ! ! I'm flattered that the poster assumed that I (the Jef Evans who spoke at Revolution) wrote this poetry. But I didn't. However, when I was 11 years old I did have a really pathetic poem published in a community paper. I stopped writing after that and, trust me, the world is a better place.

What I Feel I Have Lost

Don’t think I don’t notice
You there in the corner,
Lingering in the halls,
You aren’t invisible.

I can smell the rush
Of adrenaline,
Longing to rip off
Those hindrances.
