Vanity

He looks in the mirror,
pleased, he moves a lock of hair just so -
yes, that will be just fine.
Oh, what a figure he will cut.

The ladies will be all a-flutter
when they see him out on the town,
One lady in particular
Upon whom he has had his eye for some time.

Tonight is the night he shall make his move;
no doubt enters his mind that she might
say no
for he is too perfect in his vanity.
