Jesser Weaver Poems
Holding you for the first time.... was so priceless. You were tiny I waited 9months I was excited.
Driving.... down a deserted road as the night falls. My mind is running wild... ...and seeking the truth from the white walls.
We are born naked. We are crying and screaming. People around us are holding us gently. Trying not to cause us any harm.
Never thought i'd end up where I'm at. Digging in trash cans and fighting for food with the cats. It's so hard to live this way. I'm not even promised another breath or day.
Taking a peek over the horizon, my toes over the cliff. Been afraid to go beyond or is it that my gears won't shift. Was always afraid of the sirens in the rear-view mirror.
I'm searching and searching. But really is it worth it? Is it working? I'm hoping one day I can find my purpose.
Figure In The Fog
On a foggy night...... The rain hits my windshield... as I'm approaching a dead end. This is where my Gps led me.
Bury The Hatchet
We tend to have hatred. Over people that done us wrong. We don't take the time to attempt to get together. ... and sing the same song.
As I stare at the frame of us in high school.... I can't help but smile. You always brought happiness to my soul... like the innocence child.
One summer afternoon. I was sitting near the lake. The same bench I always sit at.
Bury The Hatchet
We tend to have hatred.
Over people that done us wrong.
We don't take the time to attempt to get together.
... and sing the same song.
Anger is one letter away from Danger.
We can change someone's life....
by saying one kind word to a stranger.
