Family tree for you and me
To pass down to our family
History of who’s gone before
Ancestor we have never known

Staring at the water for that bright silver ring
Casting his line to that very spot
Hoping that it will become hot
Standing waiting without a care
...

The building was strong and stood so tall
The Derby Royal Infirmary built to help us all
Built around 1810 its era now is at its end
Majestically covering Derby’s skyline
...

The sun shining brightly
From that far pulsing light
It shines on the building dazzling white
Windows like mercury shine oh so bright
...

Looking out at the vastness of white
Snow had fallen throughout the night
Footprints in the virgin snow
From whom they come I do not know
...

Twenty four years are rolling passed
And the twenty fifth one is here at last
What to do we do not know,
I’m sure we will have fun were ever we go
