John Petway was born in to John and Helen Petway in Bronx, New York. He has three children, Ashlee who is 11 years old, Angeline who is 7 years old, and Jeremiah who is 5 years old.

It is unknown of the occupation of his parent. His mother live in Jacksonville, North Carolina and his father live in Troy, North Carolina.

From 1977 to 1982, he attended to Ridge Street Elementary School located in Portchester, New York. From 1982 to 1986, he went to Blind Brook High School located in Rye Brook, New York. He graduated as the top Honor Roll student. Because of good grade and accomplishment he decided to further his education by going to college. He attended Pace University from 1986 to 1990 to earn his degree in Computer Science.

He received his first job was working at Testwell Labs as a Lab Data Entry Supervisor/Quality Control Coordinator. He worked for this company for 12 years. From 1996 - 2000, he attended Tabernacle Bible Institute in White Plains, New York. He earned his certificate of Completion of General Bible I AND II, Post Graduate I and II, Teacher’s Training I, Christian Worker, and Complete Evangelism. He also earned award of Most Determined, Most Outstanding, including a Dean’s Awards.

In 1998 he married Ginger Thomas. She is a devoted wife and a loving mother to the kids. Today they are still happily married.

He is also known as a preacher who has been ordained by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ until 2004, where he was betrayed by the church at Pillar of Fire in New Bern, North Carolina. Since then his life were never the same. From time to time he became depressed, angry, and hurt. He decided that it was time to take his life to another level. He became a writer to write poems. He embraces his life as his own personal means and understands the nature of life. He feels like his mission is to declare to everyone everywhere that we are special no matter what. We can make it through faith.

Everyone is special in his/her own way,
