Johnny Eardley Poems
Be The Change
Be the change you want to be, Be the change in all you see, Rather than wanting to make things new, Improve them by the things you do,
He acts like he has nerves of steel, As he walks upon his battleground, Fixing his eyes on his next foe, Like there is noone else around.
Kick Racism Out
If we really want to make a massive change, There are some things we need to rearrange. If we want the problems to actually stop,
I wonder if you know, Just how i really feel, I wonder if you know, Its my heart that you steal,
Bully Rights And Consequences
What makes you so special, To make someone feel low, With words or threats of violence, To make them want to go,
Man United Till I Die
As a kid it was my dream, To play on that sacred turf, To score a goal in the stretford end, Double or treble my worth.
Sadly Missed/In My Thoughts
I thought i saw you in work today, But in my head is wher you stay, I thought I saw you in a passing car, But in my head, there you are,
Often when I am here, Sat upon my pew, I wonder if you existed, If you were really true,
Get Rid Of Charities
Everyday there is a knock at the door, Its someone collecting to save the poor, They want my money, more and more, Please Get Rid Of Charities.
For My Friends
This poem is for you, One of my true friends, I hope our bond is always strong, Our friendship never ends.
A Dirty Poem
I decided to experiment, See what would occur, If I put this poem title, If with my thoughts it would concur,
One day in a November, An Angel arrived on this Earth, The greatest Joy I'd ever felt, Started with your Birth,
Stuck In My Past
As i wander through this land, I have no one to hold my hand, When times are bad no one to phone, No one cares, I am alone,
As the fog envelopes Manchester, And hides its visual glory, It cannot cover up the people, Who give it all its glory.
Often when I am here,
Sat upon my pew,
I wonder if you existed,
If you were really true,
Its when times are bad,
That my faith is on the floor,
And yet at these troubled times,
I talk to you more and more,
Yet when things are going good,
