Joshua Manis Poems

'You and I, We've become Spam.' 'No, more like chewed nails.' 'The 'click' we had is silent.
fallen past the ones who tripped tripping deeper to abyss who's past is this that takes my breath? a bloodied Man, beaten and shamed
lost amidst this sea of bliss the rain sprinkles across these waves took beyond happiness into the ocean of distress
Hung on a string
Like my God from a noose...
Around my neck
You call Him my fashion statement
I call him my Savior
I bear my empty cross
Nailed to my throat
Like a man to a tree
I see my empty cross
