Grew up in a broken home. Like most of us anymore. When i became a teenager, i used everything that had affected me throughout life and i started to write. it was my outlet. Your Kiss Goodnight

Another teardropp to dampen this floor
Another night of raising voices and I can’t scream anymore
Another glass is thrown but still I miss
On the surface this is war but inside I never wanted this

Could this be, just routine

This is just what we do
Cause this is what we’re used to
And when silence is the best thing you could say
And your kiss goodnight is thank you
For not killing me today
What we once had has gone away

Another day when our eyes never tried to connect
Another way to decide if each other’s touch makes us sick
