A Stranger

When the dawn of a new day
Brings to you old thoughts,
When the darkness of the night
Makes you dread the world,
Feeling lost....
Singing into the maze of a nightmare,
You will feel two tear drops
Shed from your eyes.
Forgetting an angry world
You will be sitting on the river step
Looking into the flowing waters;
Alone....
A stranger to the world.

Ripples

Lake water lap
At the feet of a tired lone boy,
Staring with gloomy eyes
As the ripples rise from the slimy waters
The wind rustles through the shrubs
Crackling amidst broken twigs
As the twittering birds
Pass forgetting the tree.
He lifts his palm and wipes his eyes,
