The poem begins a reminder,
of where we are today,
Our soldiers still at war,
In that desert graveyard faraway.
The cause of this monstrosity was terrorism,
Now our country has been harmed,
So they fight for the lives that were lost,
They’re ready and they’re armed.
They say we’re the home of the brave,
Then why am I so scared?
They caught us off guard last time,
So this time we’ll be prepared.
So many friends and family,
Away fighting at sea or fighting on land,
They all fight for one thing,
The people who died and couldn’t...
