The Addiction

Walking down the streets looking at the faces moving past
The world is spinning and the lights are moving fast
Her heart is racing and it's been a while
Since she's opened up her confidentially locked away file
Her arms feel a pinch but her body instantly goes limp
The urge is overbearing, she pushes down and doesn't skimp
She is needlessly spent laying down on her queen sized bed
Aggrivated at herself for ignoring what the voices in her head said.
They foretold her going across this road again if she wasn't wary

Ask Me A Question

Whisper to me while we lay together on this bed
Staring in your eyes, stroking the hair on your head
Then you stare at me deeply and ask if I actually do love you
I say yes.. and for once you know that someone is being true
Because even though they said it to you, they didn't mean it
They lied and lied until no two parts of anyone's story ever fit
