Biography of Kirsten Rowe
I was born in Colorado and now live in Utah, with many stops along the way. I am first and foremost a Mommy, then a writer and occasionally a teacher. I enjoy reading almost anything that anyone else writes and I am usually apprehensive about my own.
I believe that the words we use are who we are. There is the saying that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, I believe that words are the way to any person's soul.
The poems I write, or try to write, are a window into my thoughts and what I feel about the world I live in and those who exists in that world; my friends, family and those whom I hold the most dear.
I have lived in a lot of different places and I am constantly amazed at how different people are from place to place, and how similar they are. The greatest constant are words.
Kirsten Rowe's Works:
Nothing of consequence, yet. I've had a few things published in small journals and lit mags, but nothing I'd want to brag about! :)

What Will I Say?
What have you done? Take like all those before. My thoughts that you were different
It all starts over. What I though was behind me comes back again. I watch what he does and can only

Of the echoes
Of what you refuse to hear.
After the gray light fades and I'm left in darkness the sound grows loud enough to smother my dreams.
What do you do when all you want is only what you can dream?
