There he stands among the crowd silent, obtuse, hot and sticky
It is probably 95 degrees, and he has been outside since 8 a.m
In his hand he holds a sign with bolded words, “Defend Life.”
AND It wasn’t the quick spitfire of a Baptist preacher that got him to take up this charge
It wasn’t that he had done all the logical reasoning and he could prove that Singer was wrong
And it wasn’t that in the audience was some pretty chick he was trying to impress
He did not go to church
He had never heard of Epistemology
