She Brings Me Peace
A sensuous breeze whispered in my ear All the lovely things I wanted to hear I wondered if this magic would disappear Or was it because her presence was near
On a starry moonless night A beautiful bird took flight
Denial of fact Getting caught in the act
A field full of clover Daffodils bending over A lamb bounding around
To Be Around
I want to be around Not have my soul bound To pick up the peaces When she does with me
I Wonder Why
A cooing dove sang to us As we sat beneath our tree I wonder if the dove could see That the limbs of the tree
Explain to me About poetry What does it mean To those unseen
He was guided by a mysterious star Traveling tirelessly near and far The people in his travels he did greet Aimlessly looking for his beloved sweet
Living In Paradise
In my current state of mind I'm living in paradise There is nothing you can do to make me feel otherwise I see the beauty in my poet friend's souls
Uncommon words Uncommon grammar Others flitter like birds But Poets don’t stammer
My mornings allow me To clear my poor mind Of yesterdays troubles And leave them behind
United For Life
Our children our lives Lived with love and Through the crises of Two beings completing
When continents collide Will humankind abide By the cosmic will Or will we stand still
He lived in the mountains,
He lived alone with his thoughts.
Summer came in torrents of rain.
What came of his thoughts?
The wanderer asked, in mockful glee.
They ran afoul of hail and snow.
