My Love

Now I know my love.
My love who tempts, torments, and turns my soul.
I know her look, her smell and sound.

I love her for the tricks she plays.
As she flits.
And now I know her, I see her more, and hear her sound.
In your gaze, lit by the moon, I see her eyes.

And in the gentleness of falling summer rain, I feel her touch
As a chord of music slips to minor, then pauses at a minor seventh, I hear her voice
And in a line of poetry, I hear her clear.
As she flits.

I feel her near as evening sun catches red strands of hair,
And in a Gaelic voice, ...
