A meeting, with future, so short:
You're glimpsing yourself in the mirror,
And a sudden desire to yourself abort.
Not ever to live in this horror,

Well-being in all your limbs,
And even in your soul,
As tiredly you swim,
In river-love, so whole.

Busily ticking away,
The clock on the nearest wall.
Time is the eternal way,
That takes us in tightening hold.
...

The statue will not ever lie,
And will not betray your gentle trust.
It'll be with you your whole life,
And after, when you are just dust.
...

A sort of modest pride,
I'm having recent years.
Got nowhere to hide,
And do I want? Oh, yes…

Bill for the use of my body
I shall to God present.
Now - all spent goodies,
Nothing to look at.

We drink and drink -
Who can stop us?
Aslant on brink -
All life is flop.
...

A slightest tinge of shame
Must be preserved in sex.
For souls can't be tame,
If bodies quickly flex.
...

Maybe early, maybe late,
Understanding comes.
Sex is an everlasting fate,
Life's long beating drums.
...

A loving woman's voice is mellow,
It is a whisper in the night.
So love her back, don't be so yellow,
And strive to hide your mortal fright.
