On 'Abandon'. The following lines are killing: -
'I’m writing to you these few lines
inside this last light that I know
and that is trembling
in the determined quietness of the abandon'
In the determined quietness of the abandon. Fantastic.
I love this line too, 'If I’d call you now
I could be a lost sound behind a corner without memories'. Thats something like what poetry should be like.
Lisa's poems are interesting and challenging. Some lines stay with you. Like 'we need another dawn'.
