A teenage Girl stands alone-
In a bathroom
Puts on her make-up
As if by doing so,
It’ll make her face
Something that she fears
The reality sets in
As she stares blankly
Her eyeliner
On the cold marble sink.
The room is lit,
But she sees only darkly
Unaware of her surroundings
After a year
She will see her friend
There will be no smile of welcome
She will lie cold
And still
On a white silk lined casket
This clouds her eyes as tears form
