The room is silent, the door is closed
the shades are drawn to block out the sun,
yet the the effect of the sun on the shades gives the room an orange glow
he sits on his bed, in a world of his own
holding a picture of the one he loved so dearly
knowing her will never see her again
trying to forget how his nightmare became a reality
remembering her coffin being lowered into the ground
tears run down his cheeks, his eyes stinging from endless weeping
his voice almost gone from calling to her desperately
he grips the picture frame tightly
