Biography of Lucille van OnselenZunckel
From South Africa, Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. Employed at Rhodes University, Music Department & ILAM (International Library of African Music) .
She has no formal writing qualification but loves writing poetry and transforming it into music.
She is passionate about tracing her family and is working on putting together a family tree. As LadyLuck would have it, today (20/07/2007) I walked into a 2nd Hand Antique Shop and found a Bible that belonged to a long gone family member... Awesome to say the least.
Lucille van OnselenZunckel Poems
Warning Bells Reaching for that bottle, your hand on that throttle, getting ready to ride without a guide, down that road, that road to hell.
Tried to make her stumble Tried to make her crumble Tried so hard to break her And see her humbled
A Rare Red Ruby
Falling slowly, tumbling From my hand To mingle, With the sand and the dust,
Lying alone in my bed, thunder rolling in my head, listening to the sound of the rain, on my window pane.
Lying alone in my bed,
thunder rolling in my head,
listening to the sound of the rain,
on my window pane.
With every drop, realize, I love you more.
Tossing and turning in my bed,
the wind howling through my head,
see a lonewolf standing at the gate.
