Santa in his suit of red Holding forth a toy In his Christmas grotto To a child wild eyed with joy
Henri Detoulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901)
I’d love to meet Toulouse-Lautrec From the nineteenth century Taking his hand in mine To places quite unsavoury

The Ten Fifteen
I love to catch a train............I do
Friends say, where you going Lu?
I think I’ll board the ten fifteen
And sit upon the velveteen
As the engine picks up speed
I notice those with books to read
Dour faces looking bored
Fingers hitting a keyboard
Briefcases with papers bulging
