So I am really new at this poetry game
shouldn't the end of each line sound the same?
It seems harder that way to find a word
to say what you feel or what you want heard.
and little plaid skirts
White cotton undies
Almost a princess
Missed it by inches
Another dream, she’ll never find
She never forgets
Her days are mostly free and bright
As she tends her daily routine
Clean the house and walk the dog,
A few phone calls in between
I'm just a shade this side
a travesty last week
on American Idol
I have a picture in my purse
by now it's pretty old
on the back there is a verse
and I value it like gold
Mom and Dad have problems
Be sure it does not show
Close the door…turn on the shower
So Maggie does not know
I know you love me... you've often told me so
but deep in my heart...I feel I have to go
my feelings for you... are less than you need
this marriage you want...surely will not succeed
does he know how much i love him?
does he know without a doubt?
does he know what i gave up for him?
or all i've done without?
