Such vile words off tongue does drip
In hands my ears I swathe
Guarding this my conscious unto despair

In the garments and scuffs of paint on the floor
In the sections and imperfections of neatly laid tile
In the wood grain planks of our moral fiber
I see faces

My heart taken by surprise
Piercing voids of darkness
With your winter eyes

Beaming dreams our hearts take flight

Plucked
From the vine of destiny
Kissed by the glorious sun
Majestic mountain to river valley

like a ray of sun

I lost my inspiration for love in rhyme
