Wasted By The Streets

She was loved, she was blessed, but she couldn’t see,
Blinded by the lights from her insecurity,
Trust was an issue from birth until old,
Any hand that’s give she always seems to fold.

She was touched by the devil, helped by the lord
Is there an sanction when this contract isn’t yours,
When the chips are all down and there’s nowhere she can go,
She turns to the gutter with her nose back on the blow.

Now she weeps in her sorrow,
Looking for tomorrow,
But tomorrows turned its cheek
And again she starts to weep.

For the love that she’s lost, ...
