Mary Sher Poems
I Love You
I love you more then you will ever know But sometimes it’s hard to let it show Keep me in your dreams at night Think of me, I hope you might
Smile because you can Because you're happy Because of him Because of her
You came back, This is true, But you'll leave again, Knowing you.
Guy Like You
I am loving, I am kind, Sometimes I drive you out of your mind. I can be funny,
Love is gentle Love is kind Love is in my heart And on my mind
The sun hides behind the clouds The moon seem to never come out People stop and people stare But everyday I don't seem to care
What is jealousy? Is it sorrow or pain? Anger or agony? Could it be a broken heart,
The saying goes Cowgirls don't cry But in my opinion That is a lie
My grandpa used to say never ask for help But sometimes I get so stressed I let out a quiet yelp. It's ok to ask for guidence
To write is like to fly Flowing across the page and into the sky
To say goodbye Is so much harder
Band-aids cover scratches, Band-aids cover scars, Band-aids cover scrapes on our legs and arms, But Band-aids cannot cover what is left on my heart,
Will you be mine forever to hold
To keep me warm when I am cold
Let me borrow your sweatshirt all the time
Will you please, baby be mine?
